Medical device maker Opto Circuits (India) today reported a 88.50% rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 209.34 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 111.05 crore during the corresponding period of previous fiscal 2010-11, Opto Circuits (India) said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company for the fourth quarter ended March 31 stood at Rs 662.70 crore, as against Rs 544.54 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
For the year ended March 31, 2012, the company posted a net profit of Rs 571.87 crore, as against Rs 367.24 crore in 2010-11.
Net sales of the company for fiscal 2011-12 stood at Rs 2,356.85 crore, compared to Rs 1,585.56 crore in the previous fiscal.
The company's board today recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per share for the 2011-12 fiscal.
Shares of Opto Circuits today closed at Rs 174.25 on the BSE, down 0.06% from its previous close.
