Facebook IPO Roadshow Disappoints Some potential Investors

Facebook disappointed some potential investors as it kicked off its IPO roadshow in New York on Monday.

Hundreds of investors had lined up around the block in front of the Sheraton Hotel in midtown Manhattan, where chief executive Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook's executive team had gathered to tout the company's initial public offering.

The meeting did not go as smoothly as hoped.

The meeting began nearly an hour late. Zuckerberg arrived late for the question and answer portion of the meeting.

Chief financial officer Sheryl Sandberg explained that he had been in the bathroom. The question and answer session was shorter than expected, leaving some of those in the audience with unasked and unanswered questions.

Attendees were shown a video about Facebook that many had already seen online, some at the meeting complained.

Many investors were annoyed and left feeling that they had learned nothing new about the company.
