The index based market wide circuit breaker system shall apply at three stages of the index movement either way at 10% (300pts), 15% (450pts) and 20% (600pts). Nifty touched 4203.30 and Sensex touched 13963.30.
Since the indices breached the 15% level, the markets will be closed for two-hours and hence the markets will reopen at 11:55 hours.
Hence, Normal Market / Odd Lot Market / RDM Market will re-open as follows:
Pre-open period (only for Normal Market) : 11:45 hours to 11:55 hours
Market re-open (Normal /Odd Lot/RDM Market): 11:55 hours
