Asian stocks advanced after a report showed US pending home sales increased and commodity prices gained.
Japanese benchmark index Nikkei 225 rose 3.99 points, or 0.04%, to trade at 10,375.08. Hong Kong`s is trading advanced 213.97 points, or 1.06%, at 20,486.15. China`s Shanghai Composite increased 22.37 points, or 0.76% to trade at 2,957.08.
Taiwan`s Taiex index advanced 101.30 points, or 1.36%, to trade at 7,530.91. South Korea`s Kospi index rose 18.41 points, or 1.15% to trade at 1,614.22. Singapore`s Straits Times index increased 24.96 points, or to 0.92% trade at 2,745.83. (07.27 a.m., IST)
