Twenty years ago, Oct 19 was on a Monday. That day is even today referred to as Black Monday on Wall Street. The Dow had erased 23%. The situation may not be that scary, but the jitters in the Indian bourses may give market participants the blues this weekend. Developments on the political front, F&O expiry and overdose of information and interpretation regarding the P-Notes could keep markets edgy. Monday morning blues is something the markets may factor in but not a Black Monday again. The Congress-Left panel meeting on the nuke deal on Monday and the Oct. 25 meeting of SEBI on the P-Note issue will be the big events, apart from the slew of results.
