The new-generation private sector bank IndusInd Bank jumped 11.66% to Rs 63.70 and it topped the gainers in the BSE's A group shares. Its net profit rose 65% to Rs 13.22 crore on a 30.4% rise in operating income to Rs 495.60 crore in Q1 June 2007 over Q1 June 2006.
Chennai-based Ramco Systems soared 10% to Rs 179. It was the second biggest gainer in the A group.
National Fertiliser, largest producers of nitrogenous fertilizers in India, jumped 8.87% to Rs 39.90 and stood third among top gainers in A group.
The large-cap financial services firm, Reliance Capital moved up 8.02% to Rs 1330.55. It came fourth among top gainers in A group. Its net profit soared 219.93% to Rs 302.43 crore on 287% rise in sales to Rs 512.47 crore in Q1 June 2007 over Q1 June 2006.
Mid-sized firm Hinduja TMT spurted 7.79% to Rs 468.30. It was the fifth biggest gainer in A group.
