Ispat Industries, promoted by the Mittals, grew 1.07% to Rs 16.01 and came third among top gainers in A group. Recent reports suggest that the company is planning to invest about Rs 10,000 crore within five years to ramp up domestic production. It is also planning to expand overseas through capacity expansion and backward integration.
Gillette India, which makes grooming products for men, gained 0.96% to Rs 890.05. It was the fourth biggest gainer in A group.
Jammu & Kashmir Bank, India's fifth largest private sector bank in terms of revenue, added 0.35% to Rs 670 and came fifth among top gainers in A group.
